As a young boy I was surely not the only one who every time an aeroplane flew over dreamed to sit in it. First travels were with my parents and sister to Lignano for a camping holiday in a FIAT 600 with roof rack. On the Triebener Tauern Pass my father had to put in first gear and full throttle and send a prayer to heaven to make it up at all. My first job was about 50 km away which meant daily commuting. Later we moved to Munich for my first foreign assignment for BMW and many more should follow. After coming back to Austria the countries were South Africa, Germany, England, Germany again, South Africa again and finally India. As a family we moved on average once a year for about 20 years.

Favorite country we traveled as family was Croatia, all towns in Istria. In Southern Africa we had great holidays visiting Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Lesotho and created unforgettable memories.

Who would be surprised to hear that I love traveling? It is not only a love, it is an addiction, admittedly.

Cycle with race bike to Rome with 2 friends in 8 days
Cycle with touring bike and tent to Neusiedlersee
Cycle with race bike to Saint Jean Pied de Port in the French Pyrenees
Walk the Camino Francais with 870 km in 33 days
Visit South Africa again

2017:

Visit Croatia
Drive to the Nordkap and back with Motorhome with 9.500 km in 33 days
Krimmler Waterfalls
Northern Italy
South Africa

2018:
South Africa
Drove to Sicily with the Motorhome
USA with friends in a motorcar around almost all National Parks of the West with about 6.500 km in 22 days.
Drove to Plitvice Lakes in Croatia and to Zadar at the coast with Motorhome
Walked the Camino del Norte in Northern Spain with about 850 km in 33 days again
South Africa for Birthdays and New Year

2019:
South Africa in March to ride the 10th Argus Cycling Race
In April started a round trip to the Delta of the Danube at the Black Sea and back via Turkey, Greece and the Balkan States.
